For us, being “Benefit” means merging economic goals with social responsibility, transforming our sustainability report into a strategic roadmap for continuous improvement.

As Ilaria explains, our approach is grounded in core values that define us: respect for the environment and the empowerment of our people. Teamwork is central to this process, along with our commitment to stakeholders — clients, employees, and local suppliers — who are key to our success and sustainable growth.

A business model for the greater good

We firmly believe that a business model focused on shared value is the only viable path for a sustainable future. Our commitment is structured around three key pillars: Social, Environmental, and Governance (ESG).

• Governance: In 2020, we initiated a governance transformation, introducing a decentralized and inclusive model aimed at fostering a leadership style that prioritizes people’s needs. At Paradisi, we consider ourselves a family, and we strive to ensure that every employee feels like an integral part of our growth journey.

• Environmental responsibility is at the heart of our operations. In 2023, we self-produced 10% of our energy needs through a photovoltaic system installed in June. Additionally, 90% of our production waste is recovered, shredded, and centrifuged to be reused as raw material. Even the processing oils are regenerated and reintegrated into the production cycle, minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency.

• For us, Social sustainability means taking care of people. We source 93.3% of our suppliers locally, strengthening ties with the community. We invested 43 hours in both technical and soft skills training, as we believe that professional development is key to maintaining a capable and up-to-date team. Moreover, Paradisi supports the families of our employees by providing contributions for daycare and summer camps.

2023 was a year of changes and adaptations, but also a year of staying true to our core values and looking forward with optimism. We extend our gratitude to our employees, suppliers, and everyone who has been part of this journey. We continue to move forward, guided by dynamic balance and responsible innovation.
