Passengers: telling the world through images and words
The art of storytelling can take many forms. It can be written, photographed, or illustrated. It can travel through the pages of a magazine, on black-and-white film, or in the words of a reportage. This is why, as the Sandro Paradisi Association, we have chosen to support Passeggeri – Telling the Contemporary World, a project that combines photography, writing, and graphic design to offer new perspectives on the reality that surrounds us.
Created through the collaboration between ACCA Fotografia, the Gira&Volta bookstore, and the Milan-based publishing house Iperborea—renowned for its reportage magazine The Passenger—the initiative developed through three intensive workshops aimed at creating a research and experimentation lab for visual and narrative languages.
With the support of the Municipality of Jesi and other cultural institutions, the workshops took place in spaces designed to foster participation and deep engagement with the themes explored. This journey through words and images not only enriched those who took part but also helped enhance the local area, fostering dialogue between creativity and community.
We are proud to have contributed to this experience, firmly believing that art and culture are essential tools for understanding the present and imagining the future.
