The Pieralisi Institute of Jesi achieves third place in the First Tech Challenge with Robot Hermes, created in collaboration with Paradisi
Recently, the Marconi Pieralisi Institute reached an outstanding milestone by securing third place in the national robotics competition “First Tech Challenge” held at the Expo in Piacenza. The Jesi team, comprising students from classes 5^LM, 5^MM, and a student from class 4^MM from the Mechatronics Department, worked with exceptional dedication under the expert guidance of Professor Giuliano Fattorini.
The project, “Robot Hermes,” developed in collaboration with the Paradisi Association, stood out for its excellence in 3D design and programming, employing REV Robotics software for control and the management of the robot’s kinematic chains.
The “First Tech Challenge” was an intensive three-day immersion in the field of robotics, conducted entirely in English and reserved for top-performing schools. This experience provided participants with the chance to engage in a stimulating and competitive environment.
The Sandro Paradisi Association played a pivotal role in the project’s development, offering support and resources that enabled the students to achieve this prestigious result. The association’s backing once again underscored the importance of investing in education and innovation to shape the minds of the future.
The success of the Jesi team is not only a victory for the “Marconi Pieralisi” Institute but also a testament to the value of collaboration between educational institutions and organizations like ours. In a landscape where technology and innovation are increasingly central, such initiatives are crucial to fostering skill development and a passion for knowledge among young people.
